Recorded at various venues in the Untied States and Europe. PHANTOM BLUE lives up to their image of a hard-hitting, high-energy rock and roll band with an awesome force. The CD takes you from back-stage, all the way through their live performance from start to finish, dishing out all the favorite songs and dusting off a few evergreens from their first flushes of success along the way. The CD also includes new cuts like " Bleeding From Nowhere ", " Violin Song ", " Satu Saju( JoJo's Solo) ", as well as cover songs " Fairies Wear Boots ", " Move Over " and the critically acclaimed Phantom Blue version of " Bad Reputation ". Boulevard Suite #402 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (Los Angeles, California) PHANTOM BLUE the all-woman Hard-Rock Group featuring Lucienne Thomas (Vocals), Tina Wood (Guitar), Linda McDonald (Drums), Mary Jo Godges (Bass), Josephine (Guitar), respectively, were on hand at the Country Club theater in Reseda, California on Thursday, September 10, 1998 for the 3rd Annual " Rock City News Music Awards ". PHANTOM BLUE , nominated for 7 awards, wore the crowns in the categories of: "Best All Female Band " for the third year in a row; ; Tina Wood for " Best Female Guitarist ", and was presented a brand new Custom amplifier by Peavey, who sponsored that category. Accepting their awards, the band thanked their fans, family and industry folks who were in attendance at the star-studded event. PHANTOM BLUE then proceeded to electrify the Standing-Room-Only crowd unleashing a blistering four song attack featuring " Chance On You ", " Cookie " " My Turn " and finishing the set with "Im So Happy " as the crowd surged and rushed the stage in a display of overwhelming approval. PHANTOM BLUES Linda McDonald emerged victorious winning the award for her nomination for "BEST PERFORMANCE-DRUMS/PERCUSSION". GUNS AND ROSES drummer Matt Sorum presented the "BEST DRUMMER" award to an elated Linda who not only beat out 2 top male drummers but also two other female drummers, one of which was Athena Lee sister of MOTLEY CRUE drummer Tommy Lee who is the husband of BAYWATCH beauty Pamela Anderson Lee, Accepting the award, Linda McDonald, who stands a petite 5 foot 2 inches tall, had trouble reaching the microphone. As a gentlemanly Matt Sorum helped to adjust the microphone the never-at-a-loss-for-words Linda exclaimed " Im not used to speaking into microphones, Im just used to hitting things ".
